Every year for the past 4 or 5 years we have claimed a patch of grass across the street from Gerrit's work to watch the Meridian dairy days Parade. Rain or shine we are there with our good friends. It's become a great tradition that we all love and look forward to. The parade is a good one- they hand out LOTS of candy, and since it's a dairy parade (no there's not cows) they hand out chocolate milk, string cheese and ice cream.
