Haylee's first day of first grade was a fun day... she was really excited because her kindergarden teacher moved up to first grade with the class- so it really made it an easy transition. She was up bright and early and got ready with no problems
Big first graders have big back pack too- there was a ton of school supplies she had to bring
daddy had the day off so he could take her to school with us
Giving ethan a hug goodbye- he was sure sad to see his sister/best friend/partner in crime be gone all day
in the car on the way to school (she rides the bus on days when other day care kids are here, but I take her when it's just her)
back at school - ready to go
And go she did--- without looking back at all, not wanting her mommy, not caring she was going to be gone all day. She was ready to go and be a grown-up -- goodbye my love, I'll miss you
